WITH PRACTICES

Before exploring touch, breath, energy, or intimate awareness, it is helpful to understand the relationship among the physical body, the mind, and consciousness.

This introductory course gives you that foundation. You will learn why physical balance matters, how daily habits influence your capacity for presence, and how to arrive for Tantric Somatic Bodywork with greater awareness and realistic expectations.

01 — BEGIN WITH UNDERSTANDING

Tantric bodywork begins before we meet

MORE THAN A CONVERSATION ABOUT TANTRA

The body is the foundation for the Tantra practice

Tantra is sometimes presented as a collection of sexual techniques disconnected from the condition of the body and mind. My approach begins somewhere more fundamental.

The body is the vessel through which breath, sensation, energy, and consciousness are experienced. When the body is depleted, the mind overstimulated, or daily rhythms persistently irregular, it may be difficult to remain present for deeper embodied practices.

This course establishes our shared foundation so that the in-person session can be devoted to embodied experience—not an extended introductory consultation.
